Terms & Conditions – Tiffin Backbone

By subscribing to any meal plan offered by Tiffin Backbone, the customer agrees to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms are designed to ensure a smooth, transparent, and trustworthy experience for all our customers.

Subscription ActivationSubscription will be activated only after successful payment confirmation.
The subscription start date will be mentioned in the invoice or confirmation document provided by Tiffin Backbone.

Government ID Requirement

Every customer must provide a valid Government ID (Aadhaar Card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, etc.) before subscription activation.
Tiffin Backbone reserves the right to verify customer details for security and service purposes.

Billing Cycle & Payment Policy

Tiffin Backbone follows a monthly billing cycle from the 1st to the last day (30th/31st) of every month.
Customers may start their subscription on any date.
After an invoice is issued, payment must be completed within 3 days.
Failure to pay within 3 days may result in suspension, hold, or cancellation without prior notice.

Meal Delivery

Meals will be delivered according to the selected plan and delivery schedule.
Delivery timings may vary due to traffic, weather, or operational circumstances.
Customers must ensure availability at the delivery location during the scheduled window.

Carry Forward PolicyCustomers are allowed a maximum of 5 Carry Forward Meals per 30-day subscription.
Carry forward requests must be made at least 6 hours before the scheduled meal time.
Unused meals beyond the allowed carry forward limit will expire automatically.

Subscription Pause Policy

Subscription pause requests must be submitted at least 24 hours in advance.
Approved paused meals may be adjusted within the subscription validity period.

Kitchen Closure Policy

In case of kitchen maintenance, operational issues, emergencies, or unavoidable circumstances, Tiffin Backbone may temporarily suspend meal preparation.
Customers will be informed at least 5–6 hours in advance, wherever possible.
Affected meals may be adjusted or carried forward at Tiffin Backbone's discretion.

No Refund Policy

Prepared, delivered, consumed, or missed meals are non-refundable.
Subscription payments are non-refundable once the subscription has been activated.
Refunds, if any, shall be solely at the discretion of Tiffin Backbone or where required by law.

Delivery Area & Address Changes

Customers must provide an accurate delivery address and contact number.
Address change requests must be submitted at least 24 hours before the next delivery.
The new address must fall within Tiffin Backbone's serviceable area.

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing correct delivery information.
Tiffin Backbone shall not be liable for failed deliveries due to incorrect addresses, unavailable recipients, or incorrect contact details.
No replacement meal or refund shall be provided in such cases.

Subscription Validity

Subscription validity remains limited to the selected plan duration.
Unused meals beyond the validity period shall automatically expire.
Expired meals cannot be claimed, adjusted, or refunded.

Price Lock GuaranteeThe subscription price accepted by the customer shall remain unchanged for up to 11 months from the subscription start date, provided the subscription remains active and uninterrupted.

Delivery Charges

Standard delivery may be included in selected service areas.
Certain extended or specific locations may attract an additional delivery fee of up to ₹20 per delivery/tiffin.
Applicable charges will be communicated in advance.

Raw Material & Operational Cost Adjustment

Tiffin Backbone strives to maintain stable pricing.
However, significant increases in the cost of vegetables, cooking oil, dairy products, gas, packaging, or fuel may require a price revision.
Customers will be informed in advance.
Tiffin Backbone reserves the right to increase pricing by ₹2 to ₹10 per tiffin, depending on market conditions.

Menu Variations

Daily menus may vary based on ingredient availability, seasonal produce, and kitchen operations.
Tiffin Backbone reserves the right to modify menu items without prior notice.

Service Suspension & Termination

Tiffin Backbone reserves the right to suspend or terminate service in cases of:

Repeated payment delays
Misconduct with staff
False information provided by the customer
Violation of these Terms & Conditions

Communication

All important notifications regarding subscriptions, billing, kitchen closures, pricing changes, and service updates may be shared through WhatsApp, phone calls, SMS, or email.

Acceptance of TermsBy subscribing to any Tiffin Backbone meal plan, the customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to all Terms & Conditions mentioned above.
